HEMP HUB
Join Us in Building the Communities Strong Enough to Build of the Future
Dear Hemp Hubber,
Welcome.
You’ve found your way into a living conversation—one that is quietly shaping how we build, live, and relate to the places we call home.
At the center of the Hemp Hub is a simple but powerful idea:
regenerative housing is a keystone.
How we build our homes shapes our health, our communities, and our future. When we build regeneratively, we begin to restore not just structures—but ecosystems, relationships, and possibility itself.
From this center, the conversation expands.
We are a gathering of builders, farmers, designers, entrepreneurs, and community stewards exploring what becomes possible when we align material systems with living systems. That includes:
Regenerative Materials & Supply Chains — from hempcrete to bioplastics, fiber, and next-generation materials
Waste-to-Value Systems — turning what was once discarded into new cycles of usefulness
Food & Bioregional Resilience — reconnecting land, nourishment, and local economies
Innovation & Startups — supporting those bringing regenerative solutions into the world
Community Design — dreaming and building the kinds of places we actually want to live in
This is not just an exchange of ideas.
It is a practice of radical collaboration across scales—local to global, personal to systemic.
Each week, we gather.
Not out of obligation, but out of care.
There is something rare that happens in these calls: people show up with curiosity, humility, and a willingness to stay in the conversation. Over time, this becomes something more than a meeting—it becomes a field where the future is rehearsed in real time.

Whether you are here to build, to learn, to contribute, or simply to listen—you are welcome.
This community began with a small circle gathered around the question of hempcrete and its potential. It continues now as something much larger: a network of people committed to regenerating how we live on this planet, together.
We’re glad you’re here.
Warmly,
Peter van Geldern

As you step into this space, what is the one thread—material, idea, or relationship—you feel most called to explore or contribute?
How it all started:
At Wally Farm in upstate NY hosted a Hempcrete round table and a group of many interested parties came together to explore the future of building with HempCrete in our region. We created the THE HEMP HUB, A PROFESSIONAL HEMPCRETE INDUSTRY CONSORTIUM from that event.
Thank you for your interest in and commitment to a regenerative future of housing, community and the built environment. Please tell us how you would like to engage with this movement.
